Felt from December 24th until December 30th
This aspect comes in a series of three. November 12th, December 6th, and now December 27th. The three conjunctions that Mercury made with Saturn. I wrote extensively about the nature of this aspect here, so I won't be going into details. Instead, I will focus on what it means when this square happens for the third time. The repetitions emphasize a specific theme or lesson for a deeper reflection, reevaluation, and eventual resolution. Here is a summary:
3. First Contact (Direct Motion) - The Challenge
This is the initial "seed" moment when Mercury square Saturn introduces a challenge. It might involve miscommunications, delays, or difficulties in critical thinking, planning, or responsibility. The energy feels like hitting a wall where your ideas get tested against reality.
2. Second Contact (Retrograde Motion) - The Solution
During the retrograde, Mercury revisits the square to Saturn. This is the "reflection" phase, where the initial issues are brought back into focus, often more intensely. It's an opportunity to dig deeper into what went wrong, reassess your approach, and develop a more grounded understanding.
3. Third Contact (Direct Motion) - The Implementation
The final square occurs after Mercury goes direct, symbolizing closure or resolution. The lessons of the aspect can now be integrated into your life, allowing forward movement with greater clarity and discipline.

The Complete Mind
After this cycle came and went, are you more or less critical of yourself? I am definitely feeling more content with my growth now that Mercury and Saturn have finished forming a square. Out of all the qualities, my patience has probably strengthened the most with myself. I understand the mindset of "I don't have to hurry because I am already where I want to be" much more now. My mind is my home, and it feels strong.
I titled this chapter 'The Complete Mind' because that is what Saturn wanted to accomplish. It wanted to separate all the useless wanderings and questions that create unnecessary fears and doubts. One would expect that these questions are gone now, but that isn't the case. The content comes from accepting them and learning to live with them, not from their destruction. By seeing things as they are, we can accept things we usually wouldn't like. This is what Saturn did for me now. How do you feel?
The complete mind treats wandering as its house and doubts as fire to warm the hearth.
