Felt from December 2nd until December 15th
The goddess of Love and the god of the underworld found themselves in the same room. What happens next?
Love, friendships, and even our view of romance transforms. Did our relationships even need a renewal? Some did and some didn't, but regardless of the answer, Pluto doesn't care. He will make you reach deeper even if you enjoy your current situation. In my experience, during this transit the power dynamic in a relationship changes, and in general the relationship improves if the love is real, but deteriorates otherwise.
During this time, both partners want to take more power into their hands. That is especially true for people who have strong Aquarius placements, as both Venus and Pluto are currently in Aquarius. This sign is very prominent in my chart, so I can definitely feel the effects of this transit. More power in a relationship can mean a deeper understanding of your partner, seeking greater sexual connection, or even control over your partner's life in some cases. This is an intense aspect, so it is very important to stay respectful and conscious of other people's boundaries.

Fatal Love
I am reminded of a song by The Door called The Spy. Here are the lyrics:
I'm a spy in the house of love
I know the dream that you're dreamin' of
I know the word that you long to hear
I know your deepest secret fear
I know everything
Everything you do
Everywhere you go
Everyone you know
Pluto is a detective, a spy, and an investigator, and when it comes in contact with Venus, it becomes absolutely obsessed about knowing everything there is to know. And in some more extreme cases, controlling everything there is to control. If we look at the natal placements of Venus - Pluto conjunction we will see some of the more intense examples of love. Beyonce and Frida Kahlo, are both admired artists who stick to the man who doesn't deserve them. Venus and Pluto have a hard time saying goodbye and often resort to killing you with "love" instead. The energy of this transit transforms fueled by revenge more than love. Keep that in mind.
Therefore, be careful, don't lean too fast into the wrong type of love. Something that is made even harder because this transit makes us NEED a soulmate. Right now, it is hard to bear the thought we have messed up somewhere and we won't get that deep soul connection we all crave.
Forbidden Love
The desire for someone often multiplies when it is kept a secret. And who is better at secrets than Pluto... Both in uncovering them and hiding them.
There are some cases where the energy of the Venus-Pluto conjunction marks forbidden love. Such as in the case of Alan Turing who probably won Allies WW2, but was prosecuted for his homosexuality a few years later. Or Amelia Earhart, another hero who had to marry her "friend" and keep her same-sex lovers hidden from view. Another mainstream example is George R. R. Martin who is known for his depictions of incest, the most forbidden type of love.
What does this mean for us? Well, when uttered, secrets lose power. The emotions collecting in us right now can end up controlling us, so it is better not to drive ourselves crazy and talk to someone, perhaps even the object of our desires.
And if you want someone to obsess over you, which I don't recommend, just hide the right information. Isn't that our drive for most things? Discovering the unknown, bit by bit.
Collective Energy
Venus doesn't only rule love and romance, it also rules something that unifies us with the world. Wealth and money. Think about it, experiencing what the world has to offer connects us with life itself. I am talking about pleasant experiences of course. The ultimate decider of what kind of quality of experience we will have is money. That is the logic here.
On a global scale, a Venus-Pluto conjunction will highlight issues related to wealth, and unequal opportunities. We will all discover a few things that have been hidden from us. And we can see that is true, mostly with the Luigi case. I can finally see the sparks moving the world toward change, can you? Pluto once again made us focus on the true problem.
