There is a famous saying: "Where there is a will, there is a way."
Collectively, we all agree with it, but how does one get the will? In astrology, will is the domain of two elements: Earth and Fire. Earth manifests and fights through the hurdles, but fire provides the vision, inspiration, and motivation for action to take place.
If you have an abundance of fire in your chart, finding the willpower to act will be very easy, and if you have lots of earth in your chart, you will know exactly how to achieve something, but might feel unmotivated.
That is why every action has to answer two vital questions: "Why?" and "How?" In my opinion, "why" is more important. It is the vision that sustains an idea while it fights to break through and manifest in the world. When you have a "why," you will eventually find a way.
If you are struggling with motivation, try searching deep within yourself to find meaning—and a vision will form. A vision is simply an idea about how to improve something that gives you purpose. Besides ruling vision and meaning, fire also rules experience. So live life, go out, do crazy things—and meaning will appear, vision will form, and the "why" will be answered.
